“Brahma satyam jagat mithya, jivo brahmaiva naparah”

Jagath Guru Adi Shankaracharya expounds the entire Advaita Philosophy in a single statement. The text is taken from famous Prakarana Grantha Vivekachudamani(Crest Jewel of Discrimination) of Adi Shankara.


In Indian Philosophy, Guru Shishya(Teacher Student) relationship plays important role in Atma Vicharana(Self Enquiry). Upanishad contains collection of texts with this combination in the form of questions put to Guru. Shishya contemplates on the answers and enquiry begins.

Author of the website tries to explore Advaita philosophy along with readers. He is a follower of Vedanta schools of philosophy and particularly Advaita Vedanta. He does Shravanam of Adi Shankara Bhasyams on Prasthanatrayi.
