We all know that the Sun is very important source of energy for sustaining life on earth. It’s a gigantic burning ball and its presence is felt everywhere. It is regarded as deity in some cultures.
General experience of every human is that the sun is very big on the other side and I am a tiny person standing on the earth and watching it. It’s very far away and for ever. There isa duality in this experience. We impose two parameters, space (bigness) and time(existing billions of years) on it.
But, the big statement here is, sun is insentient and cannot reveal it self. It can never say it is a sun. It has to get validated. In Sanskrit we call it as Jada vastu. Hence, it has to be validated by a sentient being.
Sun cannot shine by itself. What? Am I gone mad??? Yes fortunately it is true. You have to perceive it first and acknowledge it and THEN sun shines in your awareness. Isn’t it amazing.
Example : If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound? No because there was no one to validate it. Like wise, there are many planets in the universe and their presence is unknown.
You are the one who shines by yourself and shine other objects in the world.
